Clinical Dietician

**Compensation**:Percentage based split (65% + depending on experience level)

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide therapeutic nutritional care, education, and counseling to patients in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluating the nutritional status of individuals
- Experience with sports nutrition an asset
- Planning and conducting nutrition education programs and developing educational resources for a wider audience
- Comply with performance improvement plans and accreditation standards.
- Evaluate, interpret, monitor, and document the nutritional status and needs of patients.
- Provide nutrition counseling to meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Develop, review, update, and implement educational materials for patients
- Maintain Registered Dietitian status, including continuing professional education as per college standards.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other assigned duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree from an accredited university with a major in Foods and Nutrition.
- Membership in good standing in the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Dietitians of Canada membership is an asset.
- Possess liability insurance that meets college of dietitian’s requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of MDS, Dietitian Standards Practice, and Dietitians Code of Ethics.
- Experience in Women's health, pre/post natal/diabetes, weight loss, sports nutrition for athletes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and computer skills.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
