**About the Role**:
The Lead, Facilities Services will ensure an optimal working environment in and around the entire facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective account management of various facilities-related third-party vendors, including but not limited to janitorial, coffee program, vending program, water coolers, snow removal and groundskeeping.

You will also be responsible for supervising the Facilities Department Maintenance team to ensure the various conveyance system related escalations and preventative maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.

**What You Will Do**:

- Work closely with the third-party janitorial vendor to ensure their daily/weekly/noncyclical tasks are completed on time and meets the Vista expectations by performing periodic audits.
- Responsible for working with the coffee, vending machine, water cooler and snow removal/groundskeeping third-party vendors to ensure they are meeting Vista’s expectations.
- Responsible for people management of Facilities Department Maintenance Technicians including: vacation planning, absentee coverage & performance management.
- Responsible for establishing the standard procedures and work instructions, developing/maintaining the skills matrix along with mentoring and coaching the Facility Department Maintenance Technicians.
- Responsible for maintaining the Vista 5S standards for the various facility break rooms and cafeterias.
- Responsible for the facilities office furniture including ordering new/replacement furniture when required.
- Ensure the Facility departments third-party contractors follow all Vista safety protocols when on site.
- This is a hands-on position that could require the use of hand tools occasionally.
- After-hours support in facility-related emergencies as the need arises
- Other duties as assigned

**What You Need**:

- Post-Secondary education in project management (preferred), or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A completed course in facilities management will be advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervision experience.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code, Fire Code, Electrical Safety Code, TSSA, and would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) and AutoCAD. Adaptability to learn Enterprise Resource Planning software such as SAP.
