Shipping & Receiving

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsible for moving materials through the facility. The operator will perform general warehouse tasks and duties including shipping/receiving, picking and packing orders, processing orders (when necessary) in the system. Level I has added administrative duties including entering data into iTrade and inventory.

**OPERATIONS**:

- Load and unload goods from trucks.
- Move goods packed on pallets or boxes around the storage facility.
- Check that loads are secure.
- Stack empty boxes and/or pallets.
- Perform daily circle check on lift truck and fill out pre-shift inspection form.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Inspect received material for damage and defects.
- Communicate with supervisors to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns.
- Assist in completion of inventory audit.
- Sign applicable driver documentation as required.
- Properly document work performed.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, audit and food safety standards.
- Act as a mentor for new employees.
- Check quality of produce and inform the Director of Operations of any quality issues.
- Communicate with drivers on load times.
- Other duties as assigned.

**ADMINISTRATION**:

- Enter status of produce into iTrade and confirm in iTrade that produce to be shipped is correct before it is sent out.
- Print off inventory daily.
- Other duties as assigned, including quality inspections and occasionally printing tags.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.50 per hour
