YIT an Alta Equipment Group company is currently looking for a full time Corporate Trainer for the **Montreal, QC **area. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

- Conduct technical training for internal technicians
- Work with local managers to track and schedule training to keep technicians up to date with current requirements
- Stay up to date on current products
- Provide technical troubleshoot for technicians and customers as needed and work within support ticketing system
- Completing training in a timely, efficient and professional manner
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Work and manage workloads independently
- Proper completion and submission of all required paperwork
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Fully bilingual both spoken and written in English and French

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience is highly preferable
- Knowledge of safety compliance for operating equipment
- Coach, evaluate and develop skills of class participants
- Traveling between our branch offices and customer sites as needed
- Strong working knowledge of electric and internal combustion units
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Technical background with good computer skills
- Well organized
- Willingness to learn
- Desire to succeed and a flexible “can do” attitude
- Computer programs - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Reasoning Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. High School diploma, or GED equivalent
- Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record and automobile insurance

- Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds.

- Réaliser des formations techniques pour les techniciens internes
- Travailler avec les managers locaux pour suivre et planifier les formations afin de tenir les techniciens au courant des exigences actuelles

- Assurer le dépannage technique pour les techniciens et les clients selon les besoins, et travailler au sein du système de tickets d'assistance.

- Offrir un service client exceptionnel
- Travailler et gérer les charges de travail de manière indépendante
- Remplir et soumettre correctement tous les documents requis
- Effectue d'autres tâches assignées

**Compétences et qualifications souhaitées**:

- Une expérience antérieure est fortement préférable
- Connaissance de la conformité en matière de sécurité pour l'exploitation des équipements
- Coacher, évaluer et développer les compétences des participants au cours
- Se déplacer entre nos succursales et les sites clients selon les besoins
- Solide connaissance pratique des unités électriques et à combustion interne
- Bonne aptitude en mécanique
- Formation technique avec de bonnes compétences informatiques
- Bien organisé
- Désir de réussir et attitude flexible et positive
- Programmes informatiques - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Outlook
- Capacité de raisonnement - Élevée : Capacité à résoudre des problèmes pratiques et à gérer une variété de variables concrètes dans des situations où il n'existe qu'une standardisation limitée. Capacité à interpréter une variété d’instructions fournies sous forme écrite, orale, sous forme de diagramme ou de calendrier. Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent GED
