Sales and Manufacturing Coordinator

Job Summary
This position is responsible for
- Supporting sales and estimating.
- Processing and managing client orders.
- Generating and verifying manufacturing routers.

Position Objectives
- Deliver professional interface to clients.
- Properly acknowledge and update client orders in a timely fashion.
- Efficiently produce manufacturing routers, check routers for accuracy and resolve issues.
- Perform quoting administration and produce simple repeat quotes.
- Provide administrative support to the President.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Manufacturing Coordination
- Review client purchase orders relative to quotations.
- Complete order acknowledgements.
- Update order acknowledgements for changes.
- Generate production routers, review for accuracy, and resolve issues.
- Make corrections and changes to shop routers.
- Support operations team during vacations and absences in purchasing and other sundry duties.
- Direct client requests appropriate internal resources.
- Estimating Support
- Set up new clients.
- Set up and populate quote / job files.
- Maintain and update quote queue listing.
- Create and build part and assembly quotes in company ERP system.
- Generate quotes for repeat jobs.
- Sends approved quotes to customers.
- Administration
- Reception duties (monitor phone, greet clients and guests, send, and receive couriers/mail).
- General electronic and hard copy filing.
- Special projects as set out from time to time.

Authority
- Communicate directly with clients to confirm purchase orders and order changes
- Amend routers / amend quotes.
- Communicate directly with clients in preparing quotation files.
- Prepare sales files and quotes.
- Adjust quote and orders details in ERP system to best align with actual process / past experience.

Expected Deliverables and Outcomes
- Create quotation job files in a timely fashion.
- Deliver quote files to estimator for review and populating technical information.
- Acknowledge orders within 24 hours of receipt.
- Generate routers within 24 hours of order receipt.
- Deliver 90% of quotes to clients within 2 working days.

Experience & Key Skills.
- College diploma.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Superior computer skills:

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) knowledge.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems an asset.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- The following are assets for the position:

- Ability to read part and assembly drawings.
- CAD software experience.
- Experience in manufacturing and estimating.
- Knowledge of machining, sheet metal manufacturing materials and subcontracted services.

**Salary**: $40,820.19-$55,502.56 per year

- Manufacturing and Estimating: 2 years (preferred)
