We are looking for compassionate home caregivers (Personal Support Wokers & Nurses) willing to be an asset to our organization. We have clients around GTA. We are always looking for caregivers and will get back to you. We are a registered home care corporation and have been redefining home services through family oriented care composed of therapeutic systems and processes seniors around GTA rely on since 2014.

Not Forgotten Inc focus' to find/work/help seniors or family members finding the best care possible depending on clients or loved ones needs, beliefs, culture. Depending on the client, tasks and care is personalized to suit the client to their and/or family's comfort needs promote wellness.

The Personal Support Worker is responsible for providing personal/quality medical care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, cultural and social needs of the client.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong sense of compassion and caring. Applicant must have good attendance and punctuality record.

Duties and Responsibilities;
- Assists clients with personal care; showering, grooming, and supervise toileting.
- Transfer/positioning clients from bed to commode and chair with the use of hoyer lift.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Performing light cleanings in patients bed side or home; laundry, washing and clearing plates, sweeping and mopping changing bed linens and washing the bathrooms.
- Fall prevention
- Help administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document any changes or reactions. Medication reminders*
- Errands such as going grocery shopping, appointments, outings
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Preparing light meals and feeding
- Engaging clients in therapeutic reasonable conversations
- Supporting and encouraging clients to during exercises
- Documenting progress notes on all activities and reporting/monitoring any change in clients condition
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a compassionate manner.
- Must be punctual

All applicants must have Covid-19 Vaccine's, certificate of personal support worker and police background check

Not Forgotten Home care is looking for 2 male caregivers who are certified PSWs or Nursing background and experience with senior care specifically personal care (ei; toileting, showering, grooming, supervision walking, serve and clean up after meals etc).

All applicants must be MALE and have police background check, CPR first aid and social insurance number.

Location in North York near Yonge and Sheppard. Client is seniors Chinese couple(care is for male husband), independent male, speaks English perfectly as well. We have two temporary full time shifts will be from morning 8am-8pm and overnight 8pm-8am.

- Geriatric/Senior Personal Supportive Care: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person.

Any specializations in;
Geriatric/Dementia/Alzheimer's care is an asset
