Join our dynamic team as a Junior Conveyancer. This position performs all activities relating to the administration of a real estate sales transaction.
**Responsibilities**:
- Administration of Sales Transactions - Conveyance
- Assist agents to enter sale transaction records into the Electronic Deal Sheet
- Report firm listings to the Board in a timely manner
- Post sales transaction data to the financial system from receipt through to closing
- Ensure receipts of all required documents related to the real estate transactions are complied with FINTRAC requirements
- Ensure client deposit via a certified bank draft is collected and deposited in the trust account by the date shown in the contract
- Record and verify all trust account activity are correct related to client deposits
- Prepare bank deposit books and verify the entries are correct
- Initiate and close term deposits for client trust deposits and process correct interest payouts
- Provide detailed correspondence to lawyers regarding commissions owed and client deposits held
- Collect all commissions owed to the company by the client as per contract date
- Process deal completion and make payouts to sales agents
- Ensure that all files are properly and securely stored for easy retrieval
- Assist the sales associate in the closing process by tracking late commission payments by law firms and other broker
- Perform other administrative duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Degree or diploma holder is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven Experience in Real Estate or Accounting or similar role is an asset
- Experience with Lonewolf BackOffice software is an asset
