**SITE LEADER**

**Experience**:5+ years of construction experience

**Knowledge**:

- Must have expert knowledge in renovating homes from framing to completion.
- Must have expert knowledge of installing interlock landscapes, and outdoor finishing carpentry.

**Abilities**:

- Framing drywall, mud and taping, tile installation, and door installation/trim.
- Construct using measuring devices: Laser level, transit level, string lines, and understand and calculate elevations/correct slopes.
- Using the following tools: screed board, quick-cut, skid-steer, and mini-excavator.
- Completes landscape and renovation projects with little guidance or assistance.

**Skills**:

- Take a list of assigned tasks, and plan the day and process to which these tasks will be carried out.
- Use the proper tools for each task and deliver results in a precise manner
- Identify the challenging tasks take it upon yourself to carry them out.
- Identify tasks that can be carried out by a lead hand and general labourers and direct/delegate in a professional and mature manner.
- Identifying and dictating the pace of work.

**General Abilities**:

- Ability to act spontaneously.
- Have a positive work attitude and disposition.
- Ability to adapt and be versatile.
- Ability to manage emotions.
- Pay attention to instructions and ask for clarification

**Tasks/Duties/Responsabilities**:

- Collaborate with project planner in creating a schedule
- Responsible for making sure correct tools are organized neatly in the work vehicle and that correct tools are at jobsite.
- Relating results and information to the project planner
- Identifying potential questions at the jobsite
- Seek out clarity for vague and ambiguous tasks
- Responsible for mentoring and teaching lead hands the value of good work practices.
- Operates machinery and company vehicles.
- Takes ownership over tools and the success of the project.
- Initiates and manages the safety and cleanliness on project sites.
- Builds confidence and demonstrates strong independence in the role.
- Complete daily/weekly logs and expenses

**LEAD HAND**

**Experience**:3+ years of construction experience

**Knowledge**:

- Must have general knowledge in renovating homes from framing to completion.
- Must have general knowledge of installing interlock landscapes, and outdoor finishing carpentry.

**Abilities**:

- Must be able to confidently use the following _renovation_ tools;
- Measuring tape, hammer, drills: (impact/hammer), skills saw, reciprocating saw, tablesaw, and brad nailer.
- Mudding trowel, caulking gun, and paint roller and brush.
- Must be able to confidently use the following _landscape_ tools;
- Quick cut and block saw
- Shovel, grade rake, wheel barrow, level, stringline
- Lift heavy materials with ease
- Excavation equipment (skid-steer and mini-excavator) is an asset

**Skills**:

- Carry out assigned tasks quickly and safely
- Follow directions and identify potential flaws in instructions (if any)
- Organize tools and identify jobsite hazard
