Bitcoin Mining Operations Technician

As a Bitcoin Mining Operations Technician, you will be responsible for the

installation, maintenance, and transportation of Bitcoin miners. Your work will

involve regular travel to multiple mining sites, including remote locations, to

conduct routine checks and ensure the smooth operation of our mining

activities. You will utilize specialized software to monitor miner performance,

troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance

standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Travel: Frequently travel to and from mining sites, which may require

all-day travel or extended trips.
- Installation & Maintenance: Install and uninstall digital asset miners,
- Project Coordination: Coordinate subcontracted work, plan with

suppliers and consultants, and ensure projects are completed on time

and within budget.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement and manage a preventive

maintenance plan, scheduling regular inspections and maintenance

tasks.
- Communication & Reporting: Regularly inform the overall

maintenance director of site activities, update site reports, and

proactively identify potential issues.
- Health & Safety: Promote a culture of health, safety, and well-being,

participating in safety committees and ensuring compliance with

occupational health and safety regulations.

- Performance Monitoring: Conduct routine online checks using

monitoring software to track operational status, identify non-working

miners, and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Environmental Oversight: Ensure mining servers operate in optimal

conditions, checking air inlets, outlets, ventilation, and cleanliness.
- Data Analysis: Analyze mechanical and electrical data to maintain

operational integrity.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate subcontracted work, plan with

suppliers and consultants, and ensure projects are completed on time

and within budget.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement and manage a preventive

**Qualifications**:

- DEC in a related field (project management, technology, construction)

or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
- Basic understanding of digital asset mining and cryptocurrency is a plus.
- Proficient in asset management and work order software.
- Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer softwares.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work autonomously.
