Junior Carpenter

Paul Davis of NorthEast NB is expanding and seeking an energetic and results-driven carpenter and apprentice carpenter to join our team. Reporting directly to the Project Managers this position is full time/part time, and offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience, certifications, and expertise.

The carpenter enjoys autonomy throughout their day and is comfortable and efficient working alone to deliver upon the scope of work defined by the project managers.

Paul Davis of NorthEast NB specializes in water damage, fire and smoke restoration services, mold removal. Additionally, Paul Davis works on new construction, renovation and demolition projects.

Currently, we are seeking qualified individuals for the following position who can work Monday to Friday. This position will be based in Bathurst NB and surrounding areas and will include some overtime and travel to meet the needs of our customers.

**THE JOB**:
Full-time/Part Time Carpenter & apprentice carpenter:
**-Demonstrates skill in the safe operation of shop tools.**

**-Practices good housekeeping discipline on the job to ensure a safe, non-cluttered workplace**

**-Adheres to company policy and standards at customer sites**

**-Reports production, schedule, job costing, and variances to the Project Manager daily**

**-Knowledge of basic mathematics to complete accurate quantity takeoffs and unit conversions**

**-Pickup and delivery of materials and equipment**

**-Respects and ensures that all health and safety policies and procedures are followed by other employees and sub-contractors**

**-Skilled in both rough framing and finished carpentry. Install trim, hang doors, millwork, etc.**

**-Self-starter, ability to work without supervision in an environment of mutual trust**

**-Prepared for working in all environments, indoors and outdoors**

**-Must have a class 5 driver’s license**

**-Strong desire to learn & embrace on-going technical education and personal development**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.50-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
