**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate milking machines and ensure proper functioning during the milking process.
- Perform routine maintenance on milking equipment and farm machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle and care for dairy cows, ensuring their comfort and health throughout the milking process.
- Utilize heavy equipment and power tools for various farming tasks as needed.
- Assist in irrigating crops and maintaining gardens associated with the dairy operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Lift heavy loads as required, adhering to safety protocols while performing physical tasks.
- Maintain accurate records related to milk production and animal health, utilizing basic math skills for calculations.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including familiarity with farm machinery.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively in a farming environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for record keeping and calculations related to milk production.
- Knowledge of irrigation techniques for crop maintenance is a plus.
- A commitment to animal welfare, hygiene, and safety practices in all aspects of work.

Pay: $17.78-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
