We are seeking a Shipper & Receiver to join our Shipping & Receiving team in our Body in White division.

What you’ll get to do
Receiving
Receipt and inspection of all items received including verification for correct quantity, size, part number, and PO number and visual inspection for signs of damage
Storage and distribution to correct areas in receiving, job site, quarantine, or designated storage area according to Purchase Order
Timely input of information from packing slips/invoices into the business system, daily filing of Purchase Orders and packaging slips, or faxing of freight or pro bills to the buyer and/or customs administrator as required
Shipping
Arrange pick-up and delivery of materials with appropriate logistics carriers and courier companies
Prepares and completes all shipments as required including delivery of shipments to customers or Valiant TMS facilities
Ensure all items leaving the facility have appropriate shipping documentation and the items are correctly labeled, packaged, and identified
Tracks and monitors shipments to facilitate accurate and timely delivery, which includes interaction with buyers and customs administration to facilitate the identification of international goods and shipments
What you bring
High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent and/or work experience
Three to five years of work-related experience, understanding of tools and parts related to our industry
Specialized training in the area of shipping and transport
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Good organizational skills
