**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are currently looking for a full-time Medical Assembly Technicians to join our dynamic team during the afternoon shift at our Markham location. The Medical Assembly Technician is responsible for the production, assembly and inspection of small medical devices used in surgical procedures around the world. The Medical Technician works regularly with small products and perform regular repetitive tasks accurately.
- Full-time/permanent position
- Monday - Friday work week
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Hours of Work: 4:00pm to 12:30am
- Shift premium for every hour worked (afternoon shift only)

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Manually assemble medical devices as assigned, in a production setting
- Glue and adhere very small items together with precise requirements
- Meet daily quotas of assembly work ensuring completed items meet company’s high quality standards
- Prepare devices for shipment to other departments and/or facilities

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience working repetitively with very small parts (i.e. needles, wires, casings etc.)
- Post secondary degree/diploma in a related field is an asset
- 2+ years’ experience in a medical/health care facility is a definite asset
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting and meeting quotas is a must
- Ability to follow detailed instruction and learn on the job
- Previous experience using microscopes, hand soldering tools, UV lights is a definite asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
