Flight Physicians

As a Flight Physician you will care for patients on long haul transfers in the aeromedical transport setting. This position involves frequent international travel by air or ground, flexible work hours and deployment at short notice, on weekends or holidays.

**About You**:

- Self-starter, excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with a flexible approach to unfamiliar situations
- Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with independent practice and critical decision making with demonstrated competency caring for critically ill patients

**What we are looking for**:

- Graduates from an accredited medical program
- Valid and unrestricted practice permit with CPSA
- Current BLS-HCP and ACLS certification
- Current BVLS, AVLS and CAMATA certification preferred
- Recent acute care experience. ER or adult critical care experience preferred
- Willing to travel at short notice and be away for periods of up to 7 days
- Minimum availability of 10 days per month
- Residence within 1-hour drive to Edmonton International Airport
- Canadian passport or EU-passport with Canadian PR
- No ineligibility for Visa approval or denied entry in any country
- Bi - or multi-lingualism considered an asset
