**Position Summary**

Based out of Avalon Mall, the Customer Service Associate plays a key role in supporting Avalon Mall Administration and building and strengthening customer relationships.

Additional duties of the Customer Service Associate include but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the daily operations of the fast-paced customer service centre, resolving customer issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Assisting with the daily sales and reconciliations of all sales for Guest Services.
- Demonstrating a professional attitude in order to promote a positive company image and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintaining records and log-books as required by the organization.
- Creating public service announcements.
- Responding to emergency and crisis situations following current company procedures and policies.
- Redirecting questions, issues or concerns to the appropriate department or individual.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned

**The profile we are looking for**

**Required Capabilities**:
Capability to meet the role’s medium physical demand level - lifting and/or carrying: occasional 26 - 50 pounds; frequent 11 - 25 pounds, and constantly 1 - 10 pounds, including:

- Lifting/lowering from floor to bench - usually 5-10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
- lifting/lowering from floor to shoulder - 5 pounds
- lifting/lowering above shoulder - 5 pounds
- carrying items - 5 - 10 pounds
- pushing and pulling items - 10 to 25 pounds
- Occasionally crouching or squatting to reach lower levels
