**Laboratory Technician**

Protec is a family-owned business which has been operating since 1949. What started as a small plating shop and had just a single Electroplating Line has blossomed into a company with 140+ employees.

What we’re looking for?
- An individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Someone who can maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
- Someone motivated and who can follow instructions of QC Supervisor/ Plant Manager.
- Educational background in Chemistry or a similar program.
- Experience in chemical analysis is an asset.
- Calibration and basic maintenance of laboratory test equipment is an asset but not mandatory.
- A motivated individual who pays attention to details and can interpret work instructions for calibration and chemical analysis.

Other Qualifications:

- Post-secondary Education in a chemistry background is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent control over English is preferred.
- TDG, Tow motor operator experience is an asset but not mandatory.

Working hours: Mon - Fri 40 Hours a week. (3 Shifts available: 7:30AM-4:00PM, 3:50PM - 11:50PM, 11:40PM - 7:40AM)

Salary Range: $21 - $24 per hour. Overtime available.
