Fred's Restaurant in Ambleside is looking for someone who is passionate about pasta and all things Italian

Who is Frederico? Fred's is a Cali-inspired menu rooted in traditional Italian Cuisine. An elevated room with a relaxed feel, but with a fast paced kitchen service. We pride ourselves in using thoughtful local ingredients and changing our menu seasonally. Serving daily fresh made pasta, hand stretched hearth fired pizza, proteins and vegetables.

We are currently looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and willingness to be a part of a tight knit team where we can all learn and grow together. We are steps away from Ambleside Beach, so come cook with a fabulous view

We are currently looking for the following role**:

- Pasta Roller + Line Cook - PM (Full-time)**

**Must be available to work Wednesday-Sunday. (Closed Monday's & Tuesday's)**
- We extrude and roll all of our pasta fresh daily. All pasta is made in the afternoon, before service. Once pasta has been made for service, you would be expected to help cook pasta for dinner service._
- **Must Have**:_
- Experience using an extruder and sheeter
- A positive attitude
- A desire to learn
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking and under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Knife skills (also having your own knives is ideal)
- *Evening and weekend availability is required*

**Experience with Italian Cuisine is a must**

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- West Vancouver, BC V7T 1C3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
