Are you an experienced front line leader that enjoys mentoring, managing, and coordinating? We're seeking a Team Lead Maintenance to join our E&U powerhouse execution team in Fort McMurray.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing department resources on a day to day basis and supervising a multi-skilled workforce in the powerhouse execution team. We want you to champion efforts to achieve world class equipment performance in terms of safety, reliability, availability, and cost.
Minimum Requirements:
- Three years of leadership or supervisory experience within maintenance and reliability or operations- A valid mechanical Alberta Journeyperson Certificate, Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record- Alignment with our values: safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the day to day execution of preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, emergency/break in work which is performed with in all safety standards and guidelines- Supervise direct reports to execute the maintenance schedule in a safe, productive manner- Interact with the operations, reliability, and planning departments to optimize maintenance execution by establishing work priorities and providing feedback/concerns to the responsible department-
- Manage overtime within established goals- Assist the cross functional team lead to control costs by ensuring risk items are identified and appropriate action plans are defined and opportunities for improvement are developed- At times, coordinate contractors and business unit maintenance resources in a manner that ensures that safety and work performance standards are maintained, proper control exists, costs and resources are managed effectively- Ensure training programs are maintained for direct execution team
Location & other key details- You will work out of our Base Plant site in Fort McMurray, Alberta- The shift schedule is 4 days on /5 days off; 5 days on /4 days off rotation (12-hour shifts)- This position is safety sensitive- If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory. Relocation support will be provided; we offer competitive housing assistance to eligible individuals
