As an Area Enforcement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing a comprehensive enforcement program that aligns with the ministry's commitment to protect and manage the province's natural resources.

**About us**:
The Enforcement Branch of Field Services Division provides assistance, advice and direction to ministry staff at all levels, on a variety of compliance and law enforcement matters. The branch is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of an Integrated Provincial Compliance Program which focuses on the promotion, monitoring and enforcement aspects of compliance. The branch liaises and networks with other compliance and enforcement agencies, collects intelligence information on resource violators at a regional and provincial level, reviews and provides direction on the execution of search warrants and coordinates the planning and execution of special investigations.

**Deliver on Business Goals and Priorities**
Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team towards the achievement of its business goals. It will be your responsibility to inspire and motivate your team to deliver their best performance and align the team's daily actions with the strategic vision of the ministry. You will contribute to the achievement of team goals by:
- _Planning, coordinating and managing the development and delivery of a district-wide integrated risk-based enforcement program._
- _Providing leadership and advice to direct reports, other MNRF staff and managers on the development and delivery of a broad-based compliance program._
- _Providing oversight of prosecutions of high profile or precedent setting cases._
- _Undertaking community liaison activities to help ensure public understanding and adherence to resource legislation._
- _Delivering presentations on enforcement program and facilitate restorative justice actions._
- _Serving as a member of the local MNRF management team._
**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**:
- You either possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificate.
- You either possess or have the ability to obtain a Pleasure Craft Operator's Card.
- You either possess or have the ability to obtain proof of having passed the Ontario Hunting License Examination or equivalent.
- You either possess or have the ability to obtain proof of having passed the Canadian Firearms Safety Course or possess a Possession and Acquisition Firearms Licence.
- You have the ability to pass a psychological assessment.
- You have the ability to successfully complete the PARE, PREP or ESAP-ENPQ Police 2017 physical assessment to determine fitness for the position.
- You have the ability to qualify as a Conservation Officer, which includes the ability to successfully complete Basic Constable Training at the Ontario Police College or enforcement branch approved equivalent.
