Basic qualification:

- 2+ years of Computer Hardware, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
- 1+ years of Linux Operating Systems experience.
- 1+ years of Computer Networking experience.
- Experience with Storage Devices.
- Good understanding of scripting languages.
- Availability to work in an environment that operates 24/7.
- Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule.
- Valid driver's license. This position requires driving a personal vehicle between company locations regularly.
- Must have the ability to read/write/speak/communicate fluently (English) with respect to complex technical instructions and concepts.

Compétences de base:

- Plus de deux ans d’expérience dans le domaine du matériel informatique, incluant le dépannage et la réparation;
- Plus d’un an d’expérience dans les systèmes d’exploitation Linux;
- Plus d’un an d’expérience en matériel informatique;
- Expérience avec les dispositifs de stockage de données;
- Permis de conduire valide; Ce poste exige de conduire régulièrement un véhicule personnel entre les différents sites de l’entreprise;
- Bonne compréhension des langages de script;
- Être disponible pour travailler dans un environnement qui fonctionne 24 h/24 et 7 j/7.
- Capacité de travailler sur un horaire rotatif;
- Capacité à lire, écrire, parler et communiquer aisément en anglais en utilisant des instructions et des concepts techniques complexes.

Preferred qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment);
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system;
- Good understanding of Linux or similar Operating Systems;
- Good understanding of network design, protocols and troubleshooting;
- Experience with storage devices;
- Experience in problem solving and addressing customer service related issues by working with the customer and other internal teams;
- A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in an IT related field.

Compétences souhaitées:

- Posséder une expérience de travail dans un environnement de centres de données (construction des bâtis et rangement de l’équipement, gestion du câblage, confinement en couloirs chauds et froids);
- Posséder une expérience dans la gestion du travail et des priorités par le biais d’un système de tickets de suivi;
- Une bonne connaissance de Linux ou de systèmes d’exploitation similaires;
- Une bonne connaissance de la conception de réseaux, des protocoles, et du dépannage;
- Expérience avec les dispositifs de stockage de données;
- Posséder une expérience en résolution et en gestion de problèmes liés au service à la clientèle en collaboration avec le client et avec d’autres équipes internes;
- Posséder un baccalauréat ou une expérience équivalente dans un domaine lié aux TI.
