We are looking for a motivated **LINC Manager** to join our **Surrey Language Centre** team

**POSITION**: LINC Manager - Surrey Language Centre

**DEPARTMENT**: Employment, Language, and Social Enterprise

**POSITION FUNCTION**:

- Be a resource for MOSAIC’S vision, mission, values, strategic plan, and integrated client service delivery approach, program and/or project proposals and contracts, and your role in achieving the goals and contractual outcomes of the department
- Be familiar with MOSAIC programs and services
- Ensure compliance with language policy and commitment to client-centered service
- Meet the stated goals and contractual outcomes of the program
- Take a leadership role in development and implementation of systems, procedures, and standards, and work to maintain and improve them
- Oversee the operational management of the facilities
- Create and maintain systems that reinforce a team approach to service provision
- Communicate the stated goals and outcomes to Language Centre staff and promote the vision of service excellence and continuous improvement
- Participate/lead partnership, departmental, all-staff, and relevant community meetings (for both agencies), in-service training, and other training
- Attend and prepare agendas for Program Management Team meetings
- Work on the preparation of all program proposals for English language training needs (both existing and new initiatives)
- Maintain a working knowledge of immigration patterns, language acquisition, and diversity related issues
- Work with the Program Management Team and the relevant agency’s accounting departments to ensure the financial integrity and accountability of the program
- Assist, where necessary, in the preparation of budgets, and reviews cash flows and variance reports
- Ensure programs’ expenditures fall within the limits established by the respective contracts
- Take a leadership role in all aspects of human resource management (recruitment, interviewing, hiring, supervising, orientation, performance review, recognition, discipline, lay-off, payroll, and training)
- Provide direct supervision to MOSAIC instructional Developers and indirect supervision to the instructors and support staff
- Participate in the hiring, orientation, and evaluation of program staff Develop and support staff to reach their potential

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Knowledge**

Financial management, human resource management; standard office equipment, program management

**Education/Certifications**

Degree, Certificate, or Diploma in Educational Administration, Community Studies, or Business Administration, or a related field

**Skills/Abilities**

Able to work independently and lead a team
