Head Brewer

Seeking a Brewmaster / Head Brewer to partner with for a new business venture in Montreal. Passenger Brewing Company is in the very beginning stages of conception, and we are looking for a brewer with experience that would be interested in helping to build this vision. **Ideal Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years experience working in a commercial brewery
- Ability to design and perfect your own unique recipes _(certified Cicerone not required, but preferred)_
- Strong knowledge of all beer styles and brewing methods
- Strong work ethic
- Residing in Montreal (or surrounding areas)
- Bilingual English and French _(Not required, but preferred)_

**What you would be doing**:

- Designing a minimum of 10 unique recipes in different beer styles
- Sourcing a brewery location for contract brew days (collab.)
- Attending brewing-related conferences and events. Networking with industry members to source and develop required relationships.
- Attending and entering various brewing competitions
- Becoming a presence on our social media channels
- Being responsible for planning out and adhering to a strict brewing schedule
- Sourcing the necessary equipment and materials required

We will be working when our schedules align to develop recipes and go over creative concepts. We will be brewing when there is time/space availability in a contracted brewing space. - Payment will be made via invoicing for actual hours worked on brew days (freelance). Rates to be discussed._
