The Solution Director participates in pre-sales activities and assists the sales team in identifying and qualifying standard pursuits. The Solution Director leads and guides the pursuit/bid team to develop the solution, pricing, proposal creation and presentations to the customer. The Solution Director works with the Offering team, Commercial Management and Legal to develop opportunity SOWs, understand key risks and mitigation strategies. The Solution Director provides support to Legal as required for negotiations.

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

- Develops proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), Change Orders (CO) using standard templates or client formats for assigned opportunities
- Assesses and mitigates risks through the solution design and contract language
- Evaluates and deconstructs RFx documents to segment requirements, data points and underlying business challenges in support of solution development and win theme planning
- Leads pursuit and solution process, including responses to RFx, renewals and change orders
- Creates standard solutions using cost estimators and standard proposal content
- Guides the pursuit team to develop a cohesive solution, price, proposal creation and presentation for the customer
- Manages the overall solution and follows solution and sales process to ensure compliance
- Works with sales, delivery capability centers and senior leadership to establish price strategies and obtain approvals per business rules
- May work with the Solution Center to develop the proposal plan and response requirements or fully own the creation and execution of the plan
- Updates Statements of Work (SOWs) templates, assesses and mitigates risks through the solution design and contract language
- Follows commercial risk management process consulting with commercial management team and legal as applicable
- Develops and documents financial documentation associated with the contractual document using approved templates. Liaise with the Finance Department as necessary to complete the internal financial documentation
- Secures all appropriate final solution and contract approvals from required parties and required signatures according to current business process and rules

Who You Are (Qualifications):

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Process or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in related field
- Strong technical and pre-sales knowledge in multiple areas of IT infrastructure services
- Project management experience preferred
- Understands IT operational models, including shared services, outsourcing, and associated financial models
- ITIL certification preferred but not required, will be provided by compucom to be obtained within 120 days of hire
- Knowledge of IT outsourcing services, business development activities and outsourced sales cycle
- Able to operate under pressure managing multiple opportunities and demanding clients
- Keep appropriate parties aware of plans, decisions, status, and other relevant information
- Ability to triage varied requests and opportunities based on client urgency
- Ability to quickly react to requests and properly solution technical opportunities
