Herbicide Applicator

**Industrial Herbicide Applicator (40 Positions)**
- Term: Four-month positions, begins May 1st
- Location: Regina, SK and Lloydminster, AB.
- Salary: $20.00/hr to $25/hr starting regular time, $30.00/hr overtime.
- Hours of Work: Average of 55 hours per week.
- Meals: $500 per month subsistence pay. Plus, cell-phone allowance.
- Hotels: Provided for season with exception of long weekends.
- Safety Bonus: $500/month bonus pool given to the top employees who exemplifies best safety performance.

Based out of Regina SK and Lloydminster AB, Marksmen Vegetation Management Inc. provides industrial locations with vegetation control. We are a growing, expanding company providing over 29 years of service to our clientele. At Marksmen we are dedicated to providing high quality customer service. Marksmen offers training for Pesticide Assistant Applicator along with training for WHMIS, TDG, CSO and Bear Awareness.

**Job Description/Responsibilities**:

- Outdoor field position.
- Required to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Operate spraying equipment, small engines, ATV’s and 4X4 trucks.
- GIS/GPS recording, weed trimming, handpicking, and other vegetation services as required.
- Future Full-time employment opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- The ability to demonstrate road experience with a one-ton truck and 4x4 ATV is considered an asset.
- All employees will be required to have H2S, First Aid Level “A” prior to starting on May 1, 2023.
- WHMIS, TDG, CSO, and Bear Awareness are provided by the company and required prior to starting work on May 1, 2023
- AB and/or SK Pesticide Applicator License an asset
- Class 5 Driver’s License
- All employees will be adequately trained in the use/operation of all equipment and herbicides prior to their use. A farming background and/or small engine experience is considered an asset as well as an understanding of the Dominion Land Survey System (Township grid systems).
