**Role and Responsibilities**

**ACCOUNTABILITY**:
To support the preparation and analysis of all regional and segment-related reports and be the responsible person to liaise with corporate finance management as well as the local management team.

**MAIN TASKS**:

- Business partner to the operations.
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information review.
- Lead the analysis of performance for the various business segments and perform variance analysis on a periodic basis, including but not limited to month-end, forecasts, and budgets.
- Perform monthly analysis of business unit performance and trends and prepare various financial reports thereon.
- Prepare the journal entries that affect the P&L and BS and working with the consolidation team to maintain and keep up to date.
- Support the strategic planning exercise.
- Perform financial analysis of strategic initiatives and business cases for the region across the business segmentation.
- Consolidate and analyze the monthly forecast.
- Support the Business unit cash performance, including but not limited to optimizing cash collection and to track delinquent accounts.
- Participate in business process troubleshooting and enhancement initiatives (eg HFM, Oracle, Hyperion) where appropriate.
- Any other tasks or duties as agreed with the Finance Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- University Degree in accounting or finance.
- Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CPA) or in the process of obtaining.
- Minimum 1 yearof senior financial analysis and reporting experience.
- knowledge of accounting principles, public company financial reporting & practices.
- Proven management accounting skills and experience.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to thrive in an often fast paced and deadline oriented business that requires development and refinement of processes & procedures.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access).
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle.
- Bilingual a plus.

**CAPABILITIES & COMPETENCIES**:

- Ability to manage stress and work well under pressure, e.g. meeting deadlines within prescribed timeframes.
- Ability to learn about the financial requirements of existing/new/different countries.
- Able to work within a team environment and contribute towards team objectives and meeting various deadlines.
- Able to assimilate ad-hoc and diverse information, create/provide financial models and/or analysis and present it to management successfully.
- Proven ability to analyze business financial performance; identify the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; and implement appropriate measures that maximize financial performance.
- Able to work flexible hours (which may include weekends and/or public holidays).
