**What You Will Do**:

- Schedules staff to work functions
- Greet all guests in a professional, prompt and friendly manner
- Ensure all function and set-up requirements are completed in conjunction with Oak Island Resort Banquet standards and policies with respect to presentation, quality, service and product
- Foster and promote friendliness, cleanliness, and teamwork which will assure the enjoyment of guests and the development of repeat business
- Efficient set up and tear down of meeting rooms and displays
- Attend and participate in pre-service meetings, scheduled operations and training
- Provide outstanding customer service to meet guest satisfaction
- Have knowledge of all facilities and services, as well as any functions occurring on the property
- Ensure all assigned shift cleaning procedures are performed and adhered to
- Perform any other duties assigned or requested by Manager or Supervisor

**Experience & Education Requirements**:

- Previous Banquet and/or Hotel experience a definite asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- Positive, professional attitude and good communication skills
- Able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Able to work flexible hours, including of evenings and weekends
- Able to work long hours with long periods of time standing/walking

**Salary**: $13.60-$15.00 per hour
