**Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties**

This course examines the role of print, electronic and digital media in the relationship between social movements, the state and corporate interests.
Lectures and discussion (Three hours); one term

**Required Qualifications**
Professional and educational background in the field, plus experience in classroom teaching. Applicants should have a PhD or be near completion of a PhD in Communication Studies or a related field.

**Preferred Qualifications**
Previous teaching experience in communication or media studies/arts is preferred.
