BJHS is a junior high school of about 560 students in grades 7-9. Students receive a full range of academic offerings in addition to a well-developed option program that includes Band, Art, Construction, Drama, Outdoor Pursuits, Foods, and Digital Technologies. BJHS also offers a large variety of extra-curricular and athletic programs. The school hosts the District Life Skills program and supports a large English as an Additional Language (EAL) Learner program.

completion or active enrolment in a Graduate/Master’s degree program in education; and

able to meet the Leadership Quality Standard.
