Foamed Plastic/ Xps Extruder Operator

Eco Carbon Foam is the local producer of rigid insulation made from recycled polystyrene, based in Oliver Paipoonge. We are looking for a person experienced in operation of foamed PS plastics extruder, to take extruder operator position. You must be familiar with particular extrusion process. Being able to adjust the product characteristics needed fast without producing unnecessary amounts of scrap. Be able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. Be mechanically skilled. Assist in the installation, maintenance, repair and operations of machinery. Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.

Extruder operator monitors the operation of the equipment and adjusts equipment settings. The work of the operator is associated with increased responsibility due to the presence of high pressure, hot surfaces and moving parts.

- being able to remain calm in stressful situations
- follow safety protocols

No less than 2 years experience preferable. The position can start as soon as possible, training will also be provided.

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
