**Job Description**:
Small Group Renewal Analysts act as the Operator in charge of the monthly renewal process on a rotating schedule in a timely and accurate manner.

**What you will do**
- Initiate the monthly batch Autorenewal process on a timely basis within specific time standards.
- Identify cases that will potentially require manual intervention; determine appropriate Analyst for handling, and assign.
- Assess and evaluate cases to confirm they meet Small Non-Refund criteria.
- Carry out manual adjustments & corrections in appropriate systems
- Review and analyze prior activity from last renewal and make all necessary manual adjustments in ARC/MRIS based on correspondence and special handling information from the Underwriting file.
- Evaluate premium and claims experience for reasonableness and accuracy; determine the need for and make any necessary adjustments.
- Review billed rate history from last renewal and adjust where necessary.
- Review amendment activity and ensure appropriate amendment factors have been determined and are included.
- Adjust experience through MRIS in response to special handling circumstances.
- Request and obtain additional information from other departments/sales offices in order to complete renewal appraisal.
- Requires communication with the field providing updates on renewals and responding to Sales Office questions and requests through managing shared inboxes on a rotational basis
- Miscellaneous Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Providing information to others in the department
- Updating process documents
- Update Access database for tracking purposes.
- Other responsibilities as assigned

**What you will bring**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge on ARC and TOCS is considered an asset
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Customer service skills are an asset
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting fixed deadlines;
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team;
- Strong mathematical skills;
- PAS system knowledge would be an asset;
- Some knowledge of Group Benefit products would be an asset;
