**Our Team**

At INVISTA's Maitland Site manufacturing facility, the Environmental Team plays a critical role within the Environment, Health, and Safety Team, reporting to the EHS manager. The environmental specialist role is supported by onsite environmental/process engineering/operations team members. Also, the role is supported by the KOCH/INVISTA environmental networks.

**What You Will Do**

Providing leadership for implementing and administering the sites environmental program, including air, water, and waste facets.
- Responsible for maintaining the environmental compliance tasks, environmental compliance reports and submissions as needed, including ensuring the integrity of the data that may be collected and used for these submissions
- Conduct environmental, compliance and risk audits to ensure full compliance with regulations, corporate policies/procedures, and good practices
- Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders such as process engineers, project leaders, operations for ongoing management of environmental matters
- Act as a leader to prepare for and respond to, investigate, and resolve problems relating to environmental events, such as spills
- Manage chemicals at the facility as it relates to environmental and product stewardship.
- Promote continuous improvement efforts in the environmental arena, integrating tactical and strategic environmental action planning and execution to maximize long term value
- Supports senior environmental leaders to coordinate, and review environmental related approvals such as Environmental Compliance Approvals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce non-compliance issues
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility with a personality that thrives in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Diploma/degree in Environmental or STEM program
- One (1) or more years' experience in a manufacturing chemical facility (including co-op/internship experience)
- Computer software experience including excel for data analysis/trending, VLOOKUP, complex calculations, creating pivot tables to analyze and summarize large datasets

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Three (3) or more years' experience in manufacturing in an Environmental role
- Experience with environmental reporting programs (SWIM, MEWS)
- Experience with environmental management systems to manage environmental reporting/compliance tracking tools (e.g., Cority, PowerBI)
- Applied knowledge of AspenTech's Engineering Suite
- Experience with P&IDs drawings, ISA symbology
