About Us:
Breezy Bend Country Club, one of Winnipeg’s most successful private golf clubs, is seeking passionate and skilled Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our award-winning culinary team for the upcoming 2024 golf and wedding seasons. Job Responsibilities:
Line Cooks:
Prepare and execute diverse menus with precision and attention to detail.

Follow standardized recipes and ensure consistency in the taste and presentation of dishes.

Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and enhance existing recipes.

Prep Cooks:
Assist in the preparation of ingredients as per the recipes.

Ensure all food items are prepared and stored according to established guidelines.

Support the kitchen team by maintaining an organized and well-stocked prep area.

Assist in the receiving and inspection of deliveries to ensure quality and freshness.

Follow proper food handling procedures and contribute to a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a high-volume setting.

Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Availability to work evenings and weekends and have access to a vehicle.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
