Reporting to the Manager ‑ Critical Care and Respiratory Services the Critical Care Staffing and Wellness

Coordinator (CCSWC) is a registered nurse who will be responsible for creating and implementing health and

wellness programs and initiatives to promote a healthy and productive work environment within Critical Care

Services. In addition, the CCSWC will assist with unit staffing and filling needs in advance.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:

- Current unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, or the ability to become licensed with the

College of Nurses of Ontario
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing: Master of Science in Nursing preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development in critical care nursing

Skills/Abilities:

- Current experience in critical care nursing with a minimum of 10 years experience with demonstrated excellence in

critical care nursing
- Well‑developed leadership, communication, teambuilding, negotiating and conflict management skills in order to

influence change and establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, families, interprofessional

team, and regional hospitals
- Demonstrated program planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
- Experience with identifying, disseminating, and implementing evidence‑informed practice policies and care

practices for the critical care population
- Theoretical and practical experience in adult learning theory including education program planning, development,

delivery, and evaluation

- Knowledge of the philosophy and values of Patient and Family Centred Care with demonstrated ability to

incorporate into all aspects of practice, education and teamwork

Salary Range: $43.546 to 51.230 (Under Review)
