**JOB SUMMARY**

Under the supervision of the Meeting and Banquet Manager, the Conference Porter's responsibility is to provide professional, knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, food and beverage service in a timely manner and deliver the ultimate guest experience. Such position requires great skills in work organization, proven ability to solve problems and excellent communication skills.

**YOUR ROLE**
- Prepare and serve all food and beverages for meeting and banquets
- Ensure all equipment and rooms are set-up and prepared to hotel standards
- Perform related maintenance/cleaning of equipment
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of service areas
- Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge guests even when busy
- Become fully conversant with all aspects of the conference & banquet department. This is to include; conference standards, function sheet translation, room set ups, conference service, banqueting service and conference & banqueting preparation;
- Ensure all equipment is stored in the correct manner, in line with all food and beverage/conference and banqueting requirements and health & safety legislation.
- Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Previous server experience
- Good communication skills
- Professional, enthusiastic, energetic, a people person
- Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule (morning, afternoons, evenings, weekends)
- Able to lift up to 50lb, reach, bend, push and stoop
- Able to work in a standing position for up to 5 hours
- Able to work under pressure

Relevant du Responsable réunions et banquets, Le titulaire du poste devra entre autres participer au bon déroulement du département de banquet, incluent le service des repas des réunions et évènement dans l’hôtel.

**RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES**
- Participer au montage et démontage des salles de réunions / banquets / espace déjeuner
- Assurer le service des repas (service, débarrasser les tables, etc) et assister les invités avec leurs bagages au besoin
- Assurer les fonctions du service de pause-café, effectuer diverses tâches d’entretien des lieux de travail et d’approvisionnement
- Effectuer la livraison de colis ou note destiné à un client à sa chambre ou à sa salle
- Voir à la réception des marchandises, les entreposer aux endroits adéquats et faire l’inventaire au besoin
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de l’hôtel
