Security/doorman/bouncer

**Ignite Night Club is looking to hire security/bouncers**

**Job Duties**:

- **Welcoming guests and checking wristbands and checking ID's if required**:

- **Crowd-control**:

- **Conduct bag checks as required**:

- **Keep an eye out for patrons who may have had too much to drink and offer assistance.**:

- **Keep and eye on the floor and anticipates the needs of guests and fellow team members**:

- **Effectively communicate with team and offer support staff as their needs may require**:

- **Looking out for instances such as threatening, fraudulent, and rude behaviors by the customers**:

- **Assisting RCMP as required**:

- **Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents**

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- **Basic Security License**:

- **Able to work well with staff and public**:

- **Interact with a diverse population**:

- **Work with minimum supervision and respond quickly**:

- **Communicate effectively and calmly in a variety of situations**:

- **Strong interpersonal skills**:

- **Willingness to assist peers**:

- **Able to work independently or as part of a team**:

- **Security experience working in the hospitality industry (Bars or Nightclubs an asset)**:

- **Valid First Aid and CPR certification considered an asset**:

- **Able to work on the weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) including late nights.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.65-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
