**The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education (TCRCE) encompasses the three (3) Counties of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby serving approximately 6100 students in twenty-two (22) schools, composed of 13 Elementary Schools, 6 High Schools, 1 Middle School, and 2 Elementary/High Schools.**

**Location**: Various Schools; Harbour House (Central Office), Yarmouth NS

**Qualifications**:

- **A Valid NS Teacher’s License;**
- **A minimum of five (5) years teaching at the secondary level;**
- **A Master’s degree in Education, preferably with an administration component; or **be actively enrolled in a master's program, and have completed at least two courses towards that degree; or**
- **In the Region's judgment, have formal qualifications, including a minimum of an undergraduate degree in education and specific training/experience directly related to the vacant position;**

**Accountabilities**:

- **Implement Department of Education and Early Childhood Development policies, procedures, protocols, and strategies related to Career Pathways division programming including the Options and Opportunities Program, Co-operative Education, Discovering Opportunities, Skilled Trades and Related Learning, and High Skills Major Certificates.**
- **Support the delivery of curriculum related to Career Pathways division programming.**
- **Participate in scheduled Youth Pathways Consultant meetings organized by Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.**
- **Organize and support a variety of curriculum related experiential learning opportunities with community partners.**
- **Promote and support programs, including myBlueprint and Nova Scotia Works School Liaisons, that assist students and families in making informed decisions about postsecondary and career options.**
- **Work with schools to ensure that principals and teachers are prepared to manage risks associated with experiential and skilled trades learning.**
- **Coordinate and supporting required safety training and credentialing for students such as Fall Protection and MED/DVS training.**
- **Consult with the School Insurance Program to ensure that appropriate insurance coverage is in effect for students when engaged in experiential and community-based learning.**
