**Position Summary**

The Head of the Installation department is responsible for the supervision, scheduling, and coordination of all Installation activities. You will be accountable for maintaining the level and quality of Installations and managing a team of installers and projects in order to provide an exceptional installation experience to our clients.
- Exhibiting strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with new and existing customers, the sales team, and installers, will be key to ensuring the success of the company. _

Alarme Sentinelle is seeking a team-player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work under pressure and within tight timelines and is always ready to face new challenges.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage/supervise installers in their assigned locations
- Answer specific customer requests/complaints and visit customers sites during the installation
- Specify and order equipment consistent with the job specifications
- Prepare and submit job billing on a timely and consistent basis
- Abide by government regulated safety protocols
- Oversee laws and standards with respect to future and existing installations (ULC standards, Inspections, Fire, etc.)
- Culture, mentor and motivate team members to improve effectiveness and to address performance gaps
- Establish and maintain programs consisting of a high level of quality and timely installations on budget to customers for maximum retention
- Review and approve project costings with Sales Department
- Communicate new policies, installation techniques and other modifications to respective teams
- Promote a collaborative and positive work environment between sales, installations, and customer service center locations
- Ensure all financial and operational targets (scorecards) are met
- Recruit, interview and select new Installers and Service Technicians as required
- Approve installer timesheets, expense reports and other related documents
- Maintain technical knowledge of current standards and new developments
- Maintain and provide equipment, tools and clothing needs for Installers and Service teams
- Participate on Sentinel’s Management Committee
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of related work experience with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience
- Electronics diploma or equivalent from accredited college/university or documented and demonstrated trade qualification
- Bilingual (French/English) both spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate other departments in order to meet client needs
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Working knowledge of database management, health and safety and union procedures
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Must possess a BSP card, or be able to qualify for one
- Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) knowledge and the desire to train and learn new skills
