**Hotel Cleaner**

The Hotel Cleaner is responsible for the orderliness and cleaning throughout all areas of the property, including public areas, guest rooms & storage rooms, all the while living up to our Canalta Mission and Vision

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Vacuum carpets, floors and upholstery
- Clean kitchen and bathrooms
- Ensure that hotel equipment are functional
- Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas
- Restocking cart after every shift
- Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guests and team members, reinforcing all of Canaltas policies and procedures
- Strictly observe all guidelines established by Occupational Health and Safety, WHMIS and WCB
- Perform other duties as may be required by the general manager

**Qualifications: (experience needed and education)**
- Previous experience working in a similar role in hotel and accommodations an asset
- Must be able to perform physical tasks during a standard 8 hour shift
- Must be available to work on various shifts (day, evening, night)

**Salary**:$18.85 / hour

**Vacation**: 2 weeks per year after first year worked

**Benefits**: Group insurance benefits including dental, health and vision. Long term disability.

**Job Type**: Full-time permanent, minimum 32 hours per week

**Language**:At least intermediate English is required.
