The Litigation Branch has central responsibility for managing and overseeing the Ministry’s litigation and legal support program. The branch is responsible for providing legal support and training to Delegated and Statutory Decision Makers.

The co-op student will work out of the Litigation Branch of the Strategic Priorities Group of the Ministry of Forests. They will review and revise Statutory Decision-Makers' administrative law draft determinations, making suggestions to ensure the decisions are legally sound, correctly identify the elements of each section/sub-section the decision is about; review draft legal pleadings from the Ministry of Attorney General and collaborate to make any suggested revisions; and revise the most current Ministry of Forest manuals of administrative law for Statutory Decision-Makers.

**Job Requirements**:

- Co-op Level 2 - registered as a student in a Canadian university law school
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Internet and library research skills
