**Job Summary**:
Northplex Ltd. is currently seeking a Full-Time Sheet Metal Installer located in Barrhead, AB. This position is for in floor sheet metal and ducting for furnaces.

**Position Accountabilities**:

- Read production orders, engineering and architectural drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed
- Lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates
- Punch, Drill, shape or straighten sheet metal to specified measurements
- Fit and join sheet metal parts, air and heat ducts, roof, and material handling systems
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
- Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
- Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications
- Work within the larger team to create a safe, clean, and efficient workplace
- Follows procedures accurately and carefully to ensure work is completed to the highest standards possible
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Has achieved a high level of technical skills or knowledge in the trade
- Ability to read and follow detail-oriented blueprints, drawings, and written specifications
- High attention to detail
- Highly organized, good work ethic, willing to learn, and good attendance

- Team-player with good attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Perform duties in an organized and productive manner in a fast-paced environment
