**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to join our design team. In this role, you will work closely with designers and project managers to create precise technical drawings for a variety of exterior cladding projects. Your primary responsibility will be producing detailed shop drawings, layouts, and installation plans for our Cladify and Mitrex products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.

This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, and other industry-standard software, with a focus on automation and efficiency. In this position, you will be involved in all stages of the design and production process, collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and panel layouts using AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and other design software.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate design concepts into accurate technical plans.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines throughout the drafting process.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of materials, installation manuals, production orders, cut sheets, and assembly drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for drafting.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in drafting technology, sustainable design, and architectural products.
- Work closely with project managers and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful execution of drafting deliverables.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of drafting experience, with a focus on cladding and building envelope systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in automating design processes preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes, industry standards, and sustainable design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
