- **What to expect **_

**Position**:Courier Dispatcher

**Location**:Toronto, ON

**Type of Employment**:1 Year Contract - Monday to Friday

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Update dispatch system with appropriate information
- Ensure all courier and LTL calls are dispatched to appropriate driver
- Assist answering dispatch lines and administration lines after hours
- Set up and organize overflow deliveries and appointments P&D carriers
- Assist in preparing courier driver run sheets
- Ensure all specials are serviced accordingly
- Liase with departments as required
- *Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Two -five years transportation related experience
- Previous Dispatch experience
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
- General Computer Skills
- Geographical knowledge
