**Banquet Captain**

**The Role**

APC is seeking enthusiastic Banquet Captains who will report to the Manager, Banquets & Catering. The Banquet Captain will assist in the supervision and control of the banquet department to the required standards resulting in the complete satisfaction of guests and clients. The Banquet Captain will ensure that banquet venues are prepped to specifications, banquet staff is fully prepared, guests are well taken care of and that functions are executed as planned. This includes the set up venues for a function or event prior to the guest’s arrival and tear down the venue when the guests have left. APC is offering a flexible work schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Wage range**: $18.10 per hour, plus participation in the tip pool program.

**Qualifications & Abilities**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced hospitality/serving industry.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role, developing, training and taking corrective action with employees.
- Availability to work days and weekends including holidays and long weekends.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while attending to details and maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
