The Production Coordinator at Valmet is the key liaison between the customer service representative and the production unit. In this role, your responsibility will be to ensure that projects are delivered to customers, meeting their satisfaction and within the time frame committed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the planning and scheduling of each operation of the project to ensure completion
- Consult with production, customer service and sales to ensure open communication with all delivery dates and changes.
- Manage and reviews the ongoing project margin daily / weekly to address any concerns prior to equipment shipping; changing plans for any roadblocks.
- Maintains the scheduling system and participates in forecasting and date management ensuring all parties are communicated to.
- Provides daily follow up on production key performance indicators during stand-up meetings.
- Works with the business system to complete transactions.
- Maintain inventory lists and monitor usage.
- Provide financial and operational reports on a monthly basis.
- Tracks departmental expenses within the established budget.
- Issue purchase orders and track deliveries of production consumables.
- Develop business intelligence to capture customer data on potential sales based on historical data.

What you’ll need:
To succeed in this role, you ideally a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics management or any related field combined with 2 to 5 years of experience in assisting a production unit with coordination and workforce planning. In addition, you have strong analytical skills and be highly proficient in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and MS Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to manipulate and interpret large sets of data and financial information. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the capacity to communicate both in both French and English.
