**Job description**

Oxygen is looking to hire a NOC Analyst to provide support in troubleshooting remediating monitoring alerts and provide continued development of our Network Operations Centre.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Managed Existing Managed Services Platforms
- Deploy software and agents for each of the advised platforms, configuring deployment tasks, setting thresholds and reporting intervals, setting up maintenance windows, adjusting patch management settings, utilizing automated remediation and scripting functions where required, and other functions as required
- Review the monitoring and ticket queues, acting as the first point of contact for tickets generated by the Managed Services platforms during the assigned shift.
- Perform root-cause analysis of failed devices/services to proactively resolve future issues, working with the technical and sales teams to make recommendations to ensure the clients experience the most consistent & predictable IT experience possible. Continually maintain systems on a proactive basis to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Managed Services Platforms
- Evaluate and implement new products or solution suites as requested by the Leadership Team
- Adjust clients’ billing agreements upon the change of the number of licenses used; work with sales team to procure additional licensing as required
- Provide mentorship and technical assistance to other technicians as required
- Provide timely and professional IT support to customers remotely, or on-site as required
- Document work completed and resolution in our incident tracking system with high attention to detail
- Ensure client documentation is always updated
- Ensure timesheets are accurate and updated in real-time

**Qualifications and Skills**
- 3+ years of related IT experience, preferably in a Managed Services environment
- Certification or extensive experience in Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Networking, IT Security; MacOS and Linux considered an asset
- Experience Administering a Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) Platform (ie: ConnectWise Automate, SolarWinds N-Central, etc) is considered a significant asset
- Experience in working the Kaspersky Anti-Virus platform is considered an asset
- Experience administering and supporting various backup systems such as Veeam and Datto is considered an asset
- Working knowledge and experience with PowerShell and various scripting syntax and concepts
- Working knowledge of IT Security best practices
- Self-motivated and dedicated team player, with leadership qualities and/or experience considered an asset
- Problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
