The Mobile Dispatcher is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by coordinating and fulfilling orders in a safe and efficient manner, at our multiple locations.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate the scale system and process weigh tickets.
- Check/tare in trucks.
- Collect documentation as per requirements for transport vehicles and inform Management of any discrepancies.
- Proactively communicate customer, transport and system issues with logistics, sales, and operations to ensure timely resolution.
- Process credit/debit sales and reconcile daily.
- Maintain accurate records of scale house and Hauler activities.
- Monitor traffic flow within the pit, enforce rules, maintain communication with loaders.
- Receive and process orders from clients, plant personnel, sales, other internal dispatch peers, and other internal customer representatives.
- Provide assistance via phone or face-to-face contact with visitors, clients, and drivers.
- Refer to daily checklist/logs to identify, record, and communicate changes; aiming to minimize delivery disruptions to the customer.
- Enter receipts of resale weigh-bills into the system in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Send out End-of-Day shipping totals and communicate next day order requirements.
- Minimal physical effort - some snow removal, garbage removal, ongoing cleaning duties, lifting boxes of tickets, etc.
**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
- Familiarity with order taking, dispatching, and processing debit/credit transactions
- Strong keyboard skills and knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
- Work effectively as a member of a team but can thrive in an independent environment
- Applies a positive & optimistic attitude
- Works well under pressure
- Detail-oriented, thorough and accurate when entering data
- Communicates effectively with the ability to build relationships with customers
- Well organized in a fast-paced environment

Hours of operation: 6:00/7:00am-4:30pm.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
