As an IT Support Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our IT’s needs are met, all while having the ability to work efficiently. Your technical prowess and skills will be essential in providing solutions to our company. You’ll be at the forefront of tackling IT issues, offering creative solutions, and maintaining our digital landscape.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with other related administration functions to implement desktop and server systems that utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives.
- Deploy workstations, servers, firewalls, encryption systems, and all host security systems and perform regular scheduled maintenance on them.
- Ensure integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, databases, and during data transfer is in accordance with business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage all aspects of end user accounts in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- College diploma degree in the field of computer science or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of A+ (Certification definite asset)
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience including networks, PC, and platform operating systems (including Windows 7 - 11, Microsoft Server 2008 R2- 2012 R2- 2016)
- Application support experience with Windows PowerShell, Office 365, SQL Server, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (specifically in software deployment, software updates/patching), SharePoint, Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager, IIS, KMS server, DNS
- Sound knowledge in Microsoft product releases, patching releases, and deployment of patches to Windows systems
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Help Desk Technician experience supporting end users with issues in the following: pc, laptop, internet, access cards, login, program access.
- Comfortable with SANs and Enterprise Storage

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
