Looking for someone interested in being trained to be a sandblaster/painter in a busy shop. We are willing to take someone with no experience & train you from the ground up. You must be willing to come to work everyday, on time & work your entire shift. You must be able to comfortably lift at least 50lbs. You must have basic mechanical skills - able to remove parts & re-install when job is complete. You must be able to take direction, and be safety-conscious. Be aware that sandblasting is a loud, dirty job.
We offer a great team to learn from, a good work environment with no drama, and fantastic people. As you learn and improve your skills, your wage will increase. We offer health benefits through Canada Life; a weekly per diem of $40 if you work your entire 40 hours per week (no exceptions); we pay time & a half for any overtime (not a common occurrence). Starting wage will depend upon experience.
We work 10 hour days, Monday to Thursday, so you get every Friday off. We don't blast with sand, but with a safe, environmentally friendly product. We provide all safety gear, including a fresh air suit.
You must currently be in Nova Scotia & legally able to work.
