**Job Overview**
Reporting to the Unit leader (Garden Café or Clerical), the Clubhouse Worker is accountable for the provision of support and service delivery for individuals within the community compatible with community integration, consensus decision-making and working collectively within the Clubhouse Culture.
**Duties**
1) Maintain quality interpersonal relationships with Clubhouse members, staff, trainees and students. Coordinate Unit activities. Participate in social activities and support Clubhouse Planning Committee.
2) Work alongside members as equals in accomplishment of management/unit tasks. Create a challenging and accepting environment where members have the opportunity to expand their responsibilities and develop to their fullest potential in the Clubhouse.
3) Participate in the management information system and submit data to the Clerical Unit.
4) Liaise with referral sources including correspondence. Encourage members to acquire community connections.
5) Assist in the intake process. Ensure prospective applicants are welcomed and invited to join in Clubhouse activities.
6) Work with Clubhouse Workers to provide training and support to members at Transitional Employment job sites. Replace absent member at job site. Act as liaison between members and employers.
7) Provide a broad range of support to members who are pursuing educational and employment opportunities in the community. Be knowledgeable about the resources in the field of education and employment and know how to access these resources in the community.
8) Facilitate Clubhouse meetings. Promote and encourage members to assume leadership roles in all aspects of Clubhouse life.
**Requirements**:

- Vocational support skills (education, work, training, Transitional Employment Program);
- Case management skills;
- Organizational skills which may include the following: budgeting, bookkeeping, information management, and program evaluation;
- General office (answering telephone) and computer skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
