**Must Haves**
- Rental housing management experience, including team supervision, budget management, and operational oversight.
- Knowledgeable in best practices for building and system maintenance, proficient in the use of necessary tools.
- Familiarity with construction, mechanical services, modernization, retrofit projects, and service maintenance contracts is advantageous.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Experienced in project management.
- Holds a valid driver's license.
- Skilled in renovation and proficient in using various construction tools.
- Strong financial skills, including budgeting, cash flow management, and understanding of financial statements.
**About The Role**
The Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of Maple Towers in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of the Baptist Housing Society of BC.
- Maintain occupancy, engage residents, and track rents and reconciliation.
- Oversee building and grounds maintenance, adhering to schedules.
- Ensure timely, high-quality repairs, and maintain records.
- Manage contracted personnel, stock supplies, and assist in budget planning.
- Conduct equipment inspections and care for the grounds.
- Regularly inspect and secure building security.
- Submit monthly occupancy reports and relevant data to the head office.
- Practice servant leadership, foster teamwork, and ensure emergency coverage.
- Manage relationships with contractors, healthcare workers, and various stakeholders.
- Maintain positive resident relationships and coordinate activities.
- Oversee wellness programs and respond to emergencies.
- Assist in budget preparation and goal planning.
- Maximize occupancy and revenue opportunities while adhering to budgets.
- Approve costs and invoices, ensure proper submissions, and maintain financial records.
- Adhere to statutory requirements and internal controls.
- Establish, influence, and support a culture of health and safety.
- Demonstrate safe practices, identify hazards, and correct or report unsafe conditions.
- Promote safety discussions and provide training.
- Monitor compliance, participate in investigations, and eliminate hazards where possible.
